My Client is looking for an experienced Metallurgist to provide technical expertise in all aspects of heat treatment in a small batch, multi-process heat treatment department.
Initially the role will focus on the successful accreditation of the NADCAP quality standard, working with the operations team to improve the performance of the department and put the necessary documentation in place. Alongside this project, there is also a significant upgrade programme underway which will require technical input to complete successfully. The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified/or equivalent and have relevant experience of heat treatment preferably in the Aerospace industry. Experience of the heat treatment of ferrous materials including surface treatment and vacuum brazing operation will be required. Candidates should have experience of a similar role, within a manufacturing environment including proven ability to interpret technical information and determine correct processing parameters. Applicants will also need to be PC literate, and able to work with and get the best from production systems. Location:- Huyton |
