Based within the Head Office of this fast growing company, who work with a number of household names, you will be responsible for 5 members of staff, and will report to the Managing Director.
As Head of Finance your main responsibilities will include; Maintain and regularly review the company's financial reporting systems to monitor financial performance, produce and review the monthly management accounts, provide actual results on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis, provide regular and relevant management information to board against budget and forecast, establish clear control mechanisms for purchase and sales ledgers and review all data processing and operational systems within Finance to improve efficiencies, ensure business and operational compliance with regulatory standards and procedures, maintain the Fixed Assets Register, prepare timely and accurate VAT returns, manage the accruals and prepayments process, maintain the cash flow forecasting keeping it up to date and projecting forward transactions to maximise liquidity. You will also recruit, lead and motivate the finance function to deliver high quality and timely support to the business and its goals. You will be a pro-active and ambitious individual, with a minimum of 5 years experience in industry at management level. You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent) who is commercial in approach.
