This is a great opportunity for an IT Business Systems Analyst with JD Edwards expertise to join this International organisation with 23 manufacturing locations in Europe. The primary role of the IT Business Systems Analyst is the implementation and support of Pan-European business applications, primarily Oracle JDEdwards Enterprise One (E1) Financial and Distribution applications. It includes implementation and support for all interfaces and integrations between JDEdwards and other applications e.g. Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Financial reporting and BI tools. The role is based in Milton Keynes and will involve European travel and responsibilities include:- •To implement and support JD Edwards E1 •To support a full range of modules including all the financial and distribution modules •To assist in the development of innovative solutions to business problems and work with the business to continually improve processes and efficiency •To support interfaces to other applications which provide data to, and retrieve data from, Enterprise One applications •To coordinate the Common Design process and provide technical input into the implementations •To provide support for country and business specific localisations •To provide ongoing user support and training in financial applications •To implement according to the standard project methodology and to explain to users this methodology and its benefits •To help users analyse and document procedures and to proactively help the organisation improve efficiencies in management of financial operations •To help users write operational documentation, policies and procedures •To liaise with other IT and Oracle personnel to ensure that E1 is being used to its full potential and where software development is necessary to ensure that it is done according to user requirements and meets IT standards •To manage the specification, development and implementation of system enhancements, ensuring that proper control procedures are followed •To assist with IT department operational tasks, including software installations and testing where necessary You must have:- •Previous work experience in implementation and support of JDEdwards applications •A strong personality and ability to deal with colleagues at all levels of the organisation •The ability to lead projects and deliver projects on time and within budget Good if you have:- •Financial accounting qualification •Experience in implementation of E1 in a multi currency /company environment •Experience of E1 implementation projects in Europe •Project management training and PRINCE2 qualification You must be able to live and work in the UK now.
